Laguna Golf Bintan is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead our golf course maintenance operation, reporting directly to the Area Director of Golf.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the golf course maintenance team and daily operations.
- Implement agronomic programmes in collaboration with our agronomy consultant.
- Oversee turf management, irrigation, drainage, fertilisation, and pest and disease control.
- Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers and surrounding areas to a high standard.
- Oversee ongoing course upgrade and renovation projects.
- Manage departmental budgets, labour, machinery and resources.
- Monitor course conditions and drive improvements in turf quality and efficiency.
- Train and develop the maintenance team while ensuring safe and environmentally responsible practices.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of tropical turf management, particularly Bermuda and Tifdwarf.
- Good understanding of irrigation, drainage and agronomy.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing teams, budgets and golf course machinery.
- Relevant turf, horticulture or agronomy qualifications preferred.
- International or resort golf course experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia strongly preferred.
- Open to local and international applicants.
