Owned by Qatar Foundation and set within Education City, Education City Golf Club is a premier golf facility and host to the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2020 and 2021.
Offering a revolutionary and holistic approach to growing the game, the facility comprises of a range of short game formats, an 18-hole championship course, 6-hole championship course and 9-hole par-3 course all designed by 2-time Major winner Jose Maria Olazabal.
Education City Golf Club is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Golf cart mechanic to look after its fleet of 100 plus golf carts.
The key outputs are –
- Makes major and minor mechanical repairs on all golf course cart equipment. Keeps all operational equipment in efficient operable condition at all times.
- Inspects, diagnoses, adjusts and repairs mechanical defects in all of the golf course cart fleet (battery powered and fuel powered).
- Performs general overhaul and other preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, orders and time worked.
- Ensure there is adequate stock of suppliers for all equipment.
- Works with the golf team to ensure correct use of carts.
- Maintains logs for any golf carts or vehicles loaned, borrowed or rented to external parties away from ECGC property.
- Maintains GPS inventory and liaises with GPS provider with faults and updates. Ensures working condition of GPS systems at all times.
- Speaking & Reading in English is essential
- Proof of previous training in EZGO/Club Car carts or similar is required.
