Golf Club Award Evaluation Criteria

Hosting International Golf Events
Successfully hosting international, regional, or nationally recognised golf tournaments and championships.
Sustainability & Environmental Conservation
Adoption of sustainable golf course management practices, water conservation, environmental protection, biodiversity initiatives, and other eco-friendly programmes.
Growing the Game of Golf
Demonstrated commitment to growing golf through junior golf programmes, women's golf, beginner initiatives, community outreach, player development, or increasing participation.
Innovation in Club Management
Implementation of innovative management practices that enhance member experience, operational excellence, technology adoption, or overall club performance.
Investment in Infrastructure & Facilities
Continuous investment in golf course improvements, clubhouse facilities, practice areas, technology, and overall infrastructure to enhance the golfing experience.
04 · Judging Criteria - Individual

Individual Awards Evaluation Criteria

Open to All Nationalities
The awards are open to individuals of all nationalities, provided their work has contributed significantly to the growth and development of golf in Asia.
Contribution to Asian Golf
Nominees must have demonstrated a measurable impact on the advancement of golf in Asia, whether through leadership, innovation, sustainability, education, or community development.
Timeframe of Achievements
Contributions considered should be within the past five years, except for the Outstanding Contribution to the Golf Industry award, which may also consider lifetime achievements.
Award Category Alignment
Nominations must be aligned with one of the four designated award categories.
Ethical Standards
Nominees must uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and sportsmanship, reflecting positively on the golf industry.

How to Submit a Nomination

By industry peers, organisations, or self-nomination.

All nominations are verified by the AGIF Awards Committee.

Every nomination must match one of the designated award categories, and every nominee must meet the eligibility requirements above. Nominations that do not meet these requirements may not be considered.
Yes. Self-nomination is accepted for Individual Awards, along with nominations from industry peers and organisations. All nominations are verified by the AGIF Awards Committee.
No. Individual Awards are open to people of any nationality, as long as their work has contributed significantly to the growth and development of golf in Asia.
Generally, within the past five years. The exception is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which may also consider lifetime achievements.
One is presented in each country for golf clubs, and a separate Country Leadership Award exists in the Individual Awards track.
