Shanghai, China: Club Car is launching its newly upgraded Carryall and Transporter HP models in the Asian market. Four key utility models – the Carryall 500, Carryall 700, Transporter 4, and Transporter 6 – have fully transitioned from DC System to AC System.

“This means that customers in Asia placing orders now will receive upgraded versions offering greater power, lower maintenance costs, and better compatibility with the lithium-battery, all while the price remains unchanged,” said a spokesperson for Club Car.

This upgrade covers the entire powertrain and includes various configuration enhancements:

•         All-new AC motor

•         All-new AC controller

•         New transaxle

•         All-new on-board charger

•         New flexible options (aluminum diamond-plate flooring, cargo bed tailgate latch, single-piece windshield)

While the Carryall/Transporter New HP features a fully upgraded powertrain, its price remains the same, as does the long-term warranty policy, allowing customers to gain greater value for the same investment.

AC motor power output has increased by over 40%, providing greater confidence when climbing hills under full load, faster acceleration from a standstill, and effortless responsiveness in complex terrain – all translating directly into shorter work cycles and higher daily operational efficiency.

The brushless motor design eliminates the need for periodic carbon brush replacements required by traditional DC motors, thereby reducing both long-term ownership costs and equipment downtime.
