Phuket, Thailand: On the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary, Brad Burgess has paid tribute to the staff at Sports Turf Solutions (STS).

An innovative company that provides specialised solutions to Southeast Asia’s sports turf industry, STS was established by Burgess in 2006. Today, STS is the region’s largest producer of certified turf grasses and a prominent organisation within the Asian golfing industry.

To commemorate the company’s milestone, an anniversary celebration was held in Phuket.

In a LinkedIn post, Burgess wrote: “This week, we proudly celebrate 20 years in business. For two decades, we’ve represented leading turf industry brands known for quality, performance and value. But our success is built on more than great products – it’s our people who make the difference.

“Our team works alongside turf managers every day, servicing and troubleshooting equipment, delivering parts, spreading grass, assembling golf cart fleets, supporting turf farms and doing whatever it takes to keep operations running smoothly.

“At Sports Turf Solutions, we go beyond the sale with dependable service and genuine support.

“To our team, thank you for helping us reach this milestone and for making us excited about the future.”

At last year’s Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Awards Gala Dinner in Kuala Lumpur, Burgess was honoured for his Outstanding Contribution to the game, having been a leader in introducing and promoting advanced Zoysia turf varieties around the region, improving course sustainability and performance.

Two months ago, STS won the Future Innovations Award at FutureScape Global. Staged at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre, FutureScape Global brings together all aspects of landscaping, from public space projects to residential developments that enhance outdoor living and wellness.
