Hong Kong SAR, China: Mark Thomson has joined the team at Centaur Asia Pacific, Hong Kong in the position of Division Manager (Turf Products).

Thomson brings with him more than two decades of hands-on experience in the turf industry, having worked extensively as a golf course superintendent across Australia before moving into senior commercial and product focused roles.

This strong operational background allows him to understand the practical challenges faced by golf course teams and to provide solutions that are realistic, effective, and results driven.

In his new role, Thomson will support customers across Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam and other regional markets, focusing on turf protection, nutrition programmes, and specialist solutions such as CapillaryFlow, EcoBunker, and SubAir.

He also works closely with Centaur’s internal teams to ensure product knowledge, technical support, and customer engagement remain strong.

Thomson said: “Having worked on course for many years, I understand the pressures turf teams face daily, and I look forward to supporting clubs with solutions that genuinely make their work easier and more effective.”
