Bangkok, Thailand: Global experts in club management, turf science, course design and golf technology will convene at next month’s Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Club & Turf Management Conference.

Robinswood Golf Club is the venue for the May 26 gathering that will feature a selection of high-profile figures from the golfing industry.

Rishi Narain, Head – Events, Sponsorship and Membership at the AGIF, said: “We look forward to welcoming the golf community to Bangkok in May for insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and valuable industry connections.

Among the confirmed keynote speakers are Chris Gray, Head of Sustainable Golf & Agronomy Asia-Pacific at The R&A and President of the AGIF, David Lunardelli, Director of Agronomy & Operations Asia-Pacific at Troon, and 59club Asia’s Chris Geraghty.

On the club management side, among the golf club General Managers who have confirmed their attendance are Seehachet ‘Pro It’ Saifon (Robinswood Golf Club), Adam Calver (Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club), Ian Roberts (Singapore Island Country Club) and Dean Nelson (Hong Kong’s Plover Cove Golf Club).  

Golf course architects Brian Curley (Curley-Wagner Golf Design) and Jason Winter (Parslow & Winter Golf Design) will also be present along with Flagstick President Martin Moore and Steven Harris, Regional Manager at Jebsen & Jessen Technology Turf & Irrigation.
