Singapore: Representatives from Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) member companies will be afforded the opportunity to watch world-class professional golf around the region.

The initiative is part of a collaboration between the AGIF and the Asian Tour and The International Series.

Under the agreement, the Asian Tour and The International Series will provide complimentary general admission passes for all of their events to superintendents, golf club managers and executives and industry professionals whose companies are aligned with the AGIF.

Rishi Narain, Head – Events, Sponsorship and Membership at the AGIF, said: “We’re always seeking new ways to add value for member companies of the Federation.

“Through this tie-up with the Asian Tour and The International Series we’re now able to provide our members with access to top-class professional tournaments at prominent venues in more than a dozen countries at which they will have a chance to network and meet with other industry players.”

Chris Gray, President of the AGIF, a non-profit making organisation, said: “The Asian Tour and The International Series are at the pinnacle of men’s professional golf in our region and are already closely associated with many of our member organisations. This arrangement will further cement those ties.

“As a member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, clubs and companies are not only showing their support for the wider industry, but also receiving an array of benefits, including conference attendance, exposure of their products and services via the AGIF’s media channels and multiple networking opportunities.”

Cho Minn Thant, the Asian Tour’s Commissioner and CEO, said: “The Asian Tour has enjoyed close ties with numerous AGIF member companies including Toro, our exclusive turf equipment and irrigation sponsor of Asian Tour Destinations, an exclusive network of world-class golf venues across Asia, established by the Asian Tour.

“We also work closely with facilities such as Hong Kong Golf Club, Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore Island Country Club and Tanah Merah Country Club which have staged events on the Asian Tour and The International Series. We look forward to seeing representatives from AGIF at our events across the region.”

Launched in 2004, the Asian Tour is responsible for looking after the best interests of more than 350 members, representing 35 countries managing a year-long schedule of events across five continents.

The Tour is the official sanctioning body for professional golf in the region and a member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. It is an affiliate of The R&A and all sanctioned events qualify for Official World Golf Ranking points.

The Tour also operates the Asian Development Tour – the feeder circuit that nurtures the next generation of stars. Meanwhile, 2018 saw the launch of Asian Tour Destinations, an affiliate network with exclusive, world-class golfing venues across the region.

Inaugurated in 2022 following a landmark investment from LIV Golf, The International Series is a set of elevated events on the Asian Tour calendar, staged across multiple continents and co-sanctioned by both LIV Golf and the Asian Tour.

With growing fields and expanding global reach, it has established itself as one of the most scalable pathways in men’s professional golf. The Series features elevated prize funds, world-class destinations and a defined route to the LIV Golf League, while also offering players from around the world meaningful opportunities to qualify for golf’s Major championships.

The fifth season in 2026 tees-off in Japan this week before travelling to Singapore, Vietnam, Morocco, India and China, culminating in a dramatic finale in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additional high stakes stops in the Philippines and Hong Kong will also feature in the schedule as players battle for a spot in the LIV Golf League.

Over the past four seasons, events have also taken place in England, Scotland, Qatar, Korea, Oman, Macau, Thailand.
