Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The inaugural MENA Turf Show is set to be rescheduled for later in the year. Bringing together industry leaders, specialists, and decision-makers for a day of innovation, education, and collaboration, the Show was due to have been held at the Park Hyatt Dubai on Friday, April 17.
However, in light of the current situation in the region, organisers have taken the decision to postpone the event.
In a message to speakers, delegates and sponsors, the organisers said: “While we had very much hoped to proceed as planned, we feel that bringing everyone together in April would be premature under the circumstances.
“Postponing the show now allows us to ensure that when we do come together, it will be in the right conditions for everyone involved. We are, of course, disappointed that we are unable to proceed as planned.
“Our intention is to reschedule the event for later in the year, and we are already working with our partners and venue to identify suitable new dates. We will communicate these, along with the next steps as soon as they are confirmed.
“We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience and we are grateful for your patience and understanding. The strength of the MENA Turf Show has always been the people behind it, and particularly the delegates who make the event what it is.
“We truly value the support, commitment and enthusiasm you have already shown in confirming your attendance. We are very much looking forward to bringing the industry together later in the year for what we are confident will be a successful and worthwhile gathering.”
The Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) has been appointed as the Educational Partner for the Show, while Federation President Chris Gray was scheduled to be a keynote speaker.
