St Andrews, Scotland: The Singapore Open and KOLON Korea Open have been confirmed in The Open Qualifying Series following confirmation of the Asian Tour’s schedule of events for 2026.

The Singapore Open, which is part of the International Series, will take place over the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club from April 23-26 and offer two places to the leading players not already exempt for The 154th Open at Royal Birkdale.

The KOLON Korea Open will be held at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan from May 21-24 and provide one place in The 154th Open for the leading player not already exempt.

With the addition of the national Opens of Singapore and Korea, there are now seven championships in the Asia-Pacific that offer a direct pathway into The Open for a total of 12 starting spots at Royal Birkdale from July 16-19.

Already having booked their places at the Lancashire links are Japan’s Naoyuki Kataoka (Japan Open 2025 winner), Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin (Link Hong Kong Open 2025 champion), Korean Kim Si-woo, Australian Adam Scott and South African Michael Hollick (Australian Open 2025).

The next scheduled event in The Open Qualifying Series is the New Zealand Open at Millbrook Resort from February 26 to March 1 with one place on offer.

Finally, directly following the KOLON Korea Open is the Japan Golf Tour’s Mizuno Open at JFE Setonaikai from May 28-31 where the leading three players not already exempt, who make the half-way cut, will earn tickets to Royal Birkdale.
