Singapore: The Singapore Ladies Masters will return for its third edition at Laguna National Golf Resort Club from June 12-14, headlined by new title sponsor Kweichow Moutai and featuring an increased prize purse of US$120,000.
Sanctioned by the China Ladies Professional Golf (CLPG) Tour, the 54-hole stroke play tournament marks a 20 per cent increase in prize money from previous editions.
Leading the 108-strong field will be teenage prodigy Xu Ying, whose last appearance in Singapore in October 2025 saw her finish as the leading individual in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship (WATC) for the Espirito Santo Trophy.
Xu relinquished her amateur status the following week and made an immediate impact by capturing the Fila Beijing Women’s Classic in just her second start as a professional. Her composure, maturity, and fearless play have firmly established her as one of the brightest rising stars in women’s golf.
Joining her at Laguna National will be fellow 16-year-old Ren Yijia, the first amateur to post four wins on the CLPG Tour and another outstanding talent who, like her WATC team-mate Xu, is already being tipped as a future force on the world stage. As of the end of January, Ren had secured no fewer than 11 tournament successes, elevating her into the top-50 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) for the first time.
Other notable names at the Moutai Singapore Ladies Masters will include Sui Xiang, a two-time winner on the CLPG Tour, Shi Yuli, the 2025 CLPG Tour Order of Merit winner, and Pang Runzhi, who returns as defending champion following her dramatic one-shot victory over compatriot Cai Danlin in 2024.
Adding further lustre to the tournament is 13-year-old Australian prodigy Fuyu Yang, who impressed by making the cut at the 2024 China Women’s Open while competing on a wildcard from LLD Sports. She will once again receive a wildcard invitation to compete in Singapore. Yang also claimed victory at the Webex Players Series Murray Junior on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia.
In line with the tournament’s commitment to local development, eight spots have been reserved for Singapore amateurs, with four nominations and four earned via qualifying events promoted and organised by the Singapore Junior Development Tour (SJDT).
Tournament organiser and LLD Sports founder Lyn Yeo said: “Our goal in bringing a China LPGA tournament to Singapore is to provide a platform where local players can compete, gain valuable experience, and measure themselves against the best in the region.
“Winning a professional title at home is an unforgettable milestone, and we hope it serves as a springboard to success on larger stages.”
Shi Yunding, Director of Singapore Huashang Liquor, the largest authorised distributor of Kweichow Moutai in Singapore, added: “Moutai is delighted to serve as the title sponsor of the Singapore Ladies Masters 2026. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to excellence, heritage, and the pursuit of refined lifestyles.
“We believe sport is a powerful bridge between cultures, and we are proud to support an event that showcases both elite competition and the elegance of women’s golf.”
Since its inception, the Singapore Ladies Masters has established itself as a springboard for emerging talent. In 2023, Singapore’s first golfing Olympian Shannon Tan captured the inaugural title as a 19-year-old amateur before turning professional the following year. In 2025, Tan won twice on the Ladies European Tour (LET) en route to lifting the Order of Merit title.
Beyond the on-course spectacle, the tournament continues its mission to grow women’s golf by offering promising amateurs from across the Asia-Pacific region a platform to compete alongside professionals and gain valuable exposure.
