Robinswood Date for AGIF Thailand Conference

AGIF Conference

Bangkok, Thailand: Robinswood Golf Club will play host to next year’s Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Club and Turf Management Conference Thailand.

The acclaimed Lam Luk Ka venue within Reignwood Park will welcome a line-up of world-class speakers for the May 26 gathering that will turn the spotlight on topical subjects affecting the turf and management industry.

Chris Gray, President of the AGIF, said: “Following the success of this year’s Thailand Conference, we’re delighted to confirm the date and venue for our return to Bangkok in 2026.

“Bringing together golf course general managers, course superintendents and industry professionals from across Thailand and Southeast Asia, it promises to be a memorable day at Robinswood, one of the region’s outstanding golf establishments.”

Rishi Narain, Head – Events, Sponsorship and Membership at the Federation, said: “The AGIF is committed to hosting educational and networking events that will bring together personnel from all sectors of the golfing industry in the region.

“We had an outstanding turnout at this year’s Conference at Flora Ville Golf & Country Club and look forward to surpassing that in 2026. We’re in the final process of confirming a top-quality speaker line-up. There will be further announcements in the coming weeks.”

Among the Thailand clubs that participated this year were Amata Spring, Blue Canyon, Flora Ville, Laguna Golf Phuket, Navatanee, Nikanti, Pattana, Riverdale, Robinswood, Royal Bangkok Sports Club, Royal Gems, Siam Country Club, Stonehill, Thai Country Club, Thana City and Toscana Valley.

Also in attendance were representatives from clubs and companies in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore.

Robinswood Hole 9

Positioned to be one of Southeast Asia’s most exclusive golf clubs, Robinswood is the latest world-class sporting destination in Reignwood Group’s portfolio, drawing on a century of golfing excellence, including the historic Wentworth Club in Surrey, England and the award-winning Reignwood Pine Valley in Beijing, China.

The golf course at Robinswood is the heart of a ground-breaking 2,000 Rai multi-generational lifestyle development that includes private estates, a community mall, extensive communal gardens, comprehensive wellness and sporting facilities, and a fully accredited international school.

Reignwood Park and Robinswood Golf Club combine a proven track record in international project development with forward-thinking research and initiatives, culminating in a commune of excellence – a home for residents to forge their own legacies for generations to come – setting a new standard for community integration and contemporary living in the region.

Meanwhile, Gray confirmed that the 2026 AGIF Annual International Summit – including the AGIF Gala Awards Night and Asian Business Leaders Invitational tournament – will take place at the Sime Darby Convention Centre on October 27-29, coinciding once more with the LPGA Tour’s Maybank Championship at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. Registration will open shortly.

As well as the Robinswood event, it’s the intention to stage two other one-day AGIF Club and Turf Management Conferences in 2026, tentatively scheduled for Singapore/Johor in June and Hanoi, Vietnam in August.

Furthermore, the AGIF has been appointed as the Educational Partner for the inaugural MENA Turf Show, which is scheduled to be held at the Park Hyatt Dubai on Friday, April 17, 2026.
