Singapore: Sentosa Golf Club (SGC) has added to its ever-growing collection of accolades with two more significant acknowledgements of its standing as one of the world’s premier golfing venues.

As well as being recognised as Asia’s Best Golf Course and Singapore’s Best Golf Course in the World Golf Awards, SGC has risen three spots to 71st in the latest edition of the Top-100 Platinum Clubs of the World.

Andy Johnston, General Manager and Director of Agronomy at SGC, said: “We have been honoured with two milestones that reaffirm how our collective journey continues to evolve, grow, and leave a lasting impression.

“As we close another remarkable year, we find ourselves reflecting not just on what we have achieved, but why we have achieved it. The answer lies in embracing the subtle yet powerful shift from service delivery to ‘True Hospitality’. This evolution will define us. Referring to the club’s success at the World Golf Awards, Johnston added: “These mark our 15th and 16th World Golf Awards over the past decade, a tribute to years of consistency, dependability, and progress, driven by our unwavering pursuit of TR365 and excellence. These honours reflect not only our world-class facility, but also the passion, precision, and pride behind every detail.”

Of the Platinum Clubs of the World recognition, he added: “On paper, this might seem like a small step, but in the world of the elite, every inch upward is monumental. Progress at this level is never given; it’s earned through relentless commitment, innovation, and unity of purpose.”

In a letter to his colleagues at Sentosa Golf Club, Johnston said: “There are only two directions in any great journey, forward or backward, upward or down. Progress is never an accident; it’s a decision powered by determination. We have chosen growth, deliberately, consistently. Let’s commit to doubling down on growth, to fuel the future we’re building together. Because no award, no ranking, no recognition happens without you.
