Phang Nga, Thailand: A four-day stay at Aquella Golf & Country Club helped propel Mimi Rhodes to a triumphant conclusion to her debut season on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

During her visit to the Phuket venue in late October, the 23-year-old Englishwoman took part in friendly challenges on the short-game area, enjoyed a private-chef dining experience in her villa, and embraced the calm rhythm of the Andaman coastline at the venue which is managed by IMG Golf Course Services – capturing Aquella’s balance between performance, rejuvenation, and refined hospitality.

In the weeks following her stay, Rhodes went on to capture the LET’s Rookie of The Year title, following in the footsteps of fellow English golfers, Charley Hull, Mel Reid, Trish Johnson and Dame Laura Davies. Additionally, the team captained by Rhodes claimed victory at the Aramco China Championship, adding to her three individual wins of the 2025 season.

Rhodes, who is managed by WME Sports – part of WME Group, a sister company to TKO Group Holdings, Inc and owner of IMG – enjoyed Aquella’s championship course, luxury villa accommodation, and signature hospitality as part of her training and recovery period ahead of her final competitive stretch of 2025.

Posting on Instagram, Rhodes reflected on her stay at Aquella Golf & Country Club: “An amazing few days at @aquellagolf – training, relaxing, and recharging in one of the luxurious villas @aquellathailand. Couldn’t have asked for better facilities or service. Everything was absolutely top-class. Big thanks to @imgprestigegolf and the @aquellagolf @aquellathailand team for such an unforgettable experience!”

Stephen Banks, General Manager at Aquella Golf & Country Club, said: “Hosting Mimi was a genuine pleasure. She represents exactly what Aquella stands for – focus, professionalism, and grace, all within a setting that blends world-class sport with relaxed coastal luxury.”

Content from Rhodes’ time at Aquella will be shared through the destination’s own channels over the coming weeks.

By her own admission, Rhodes has surpassed her expectations this year. “My rookie season has been very unexpected honestly – it’s been a good year. It started off really well, so I’ve just been trying to keep playing solid golf and keep it going. I had a good finish at the AIG Women’s Open (tied 19th) which brought me back up and my game’s been really solid since then.

“I have just been waiting for the right time for everything to come together. My first win was really special because getting it across the line is always difficult.”

Heading into the LET’s season-ending Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf from November 27-30, Rhodes is second in the Order of Merit, 219 points behind leader Shannon Tan of Singapore.

She added: “Winning the LET Order of Merit has been my number one goal since I got to the top of it, so I’m going to put up a big fight in the last event and hopefully, it will be enough. If not, I’ll be happy either way.”
