Hong Kong SAR, China: The 64th Hong Kong Open saw Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin post a runaway seven-stroke victory at the Hong Kong Golf Club (HKGC) with a record-breaking total of 27-under-par 253.
Providing crucial support in the success of the latest edition of this historic event, long-term partner Club Car built a green transportation system covering all aspects of the tournament’s operation with the presence of four models – Transporter 4, Transporter 6, Tempo Stretch Li, and an ambulance customised from Carryall 300.
Tempo Stretch Li’s four forward-facing seats and high-efficiency lithium battery technology served as a shuttle for players at the US$2 million Hong Kong Open. The vehicle has zero emissions and low noise, perfectly meeting the requirements of the Fanling-based HKGC for ecological environment protection, and redefining the environmental standards for stadium commuting.
Transporter 6, with its modular space, completed daily equipment transportation and personnel transfer tasks. With its comfortable cabin, designed specifically for players and guests, this vehicle earned praise from competitors as ‘providing an excellent mobile rest space for pre-match preparation’.
Meanwhile, the customised ambulance, providing medical support services including first aid and rehabilitation, was on call to respond to sudden medical needs within the golden rescue time, building a comforting safety barrier for athletes and spectators.
Throughout the week, Club Car also showcased its environmental technology capabilities and sustainable operating philosophy.

“Club Car’s services were deeply integrated into every aspect of the event, from ensuring functionality to enhancing the experience, jointly creating benchmark value with the event,” said a Club Car spokesperson.
Away from the course, Club Car’s booth attracted heavy traffic throughout the week with golf enthusiasts able to show off their putting skills.
The spokesperson added: “Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and participated in the putting test with such enthusiasm. Club Car is here to help all players enjoy their golfing journey.
“In the future, Club Car will continue to leverage technology and quality to reach new heights with top global events.”
