Changing the Business of Golf

London, England: Golf course businesses are under increasing pressure from regulation, resource scarcity and rising customer expectations. Meeting those challenges – and securing long-term sustainability – starts with prioritising your golf course, says Carr Golf Maintenance Managing Director Ed Pettit on the latest Changing the Business of Golf podcast.

A Carr Golf Maintenance survey of golfers in the United Kingdom and Ireland revealed that while 90% of players view the course as the most important part of their experience, fewer than a quarter were satisfied with year-round conditioning.

For Pettit, the message is clear: the golf course is the business’s most valuable asset and it must be invested in.

In this episode of Syngenta Golf’s Changing the Business of Golf the following topics are all covered:

  • How prioritising your golf course will elevate the customer experience and maximise revenue across the business.
  • How to use data and technology to inform decision-making.
  • Why you need to start preparing for future regulatory and resource challenges to ensure long-term business sustainability.

The Changing the Business of Golf podcast with Ed Pettit is available to listen or watch now.
