Singapore: The Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) is set to shine a light on individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to inspiring others, growing the game and developing sustainable practices in the region.

Leaders, stalwarts and innovators from all segments of the industry will be honoured during the AGIF Gala Awards Night at next month’s AGIF Annual International Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

“The time is right to recognise outstanding achievements by clubs, companies and individuals from across Asia and highlight their contributions to the sport and industry,” said Chris Gray, President of the AGIF.

“The Gala Awards Night promises to be an occasion dedicated to celebrating the passion, progress, and people who make our sport thrive,” he added.

Nominations in the AGIF Golf Industry Awards are open across four categories:

• Individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the golf industry.
• Institutions/golf clubs who have innovated and set new standards of excellence.
• Young leaders (aged under 40 as of end of 2025) in the Asian golf industry.
• Women leaders in the Asian golf industry.

Nominators will need to provide reasons for the nomination and examples of the nominee’s impact in their respective field.

An independent judging panel will review all entries with the winners being announced at the AGIF Gala Awards Night on Wednesday, October 29.

“It’s shaping up to be a memorable week on the Asian golfing calendar with golf, knowledge sharing, networking and awards,” said Rishi Narain, Head – Events, Sponsorship and Membership at the AGIF of the three-day gathering in the Malaysian capital.

The inaugural AGIF Business Leaders Invitational will take place at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort on October 28 to be followed by the Summit (October 29-30), featuring a line-up of world-class speakers focusing on a variety of pressing issues facing the industry, including technology and sustainability.

The gathering will conclude with a late afternoon poolside barbecue at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club on October 30, coinciding with the conclusion of the second round of the US$3 million Maybank Championship, the richest LPGA Tour event in Asia.
