Seoul, Korea: The Aramco Korea Championship delivered an unforgettable week at New Korea Country Club – not only showcasing world-class golf with Kim Hyo-joo defending her title on home soil, but also making a meaningful impact off the course through a series of powerful charity and CSR initiatives that left a lasting impression.

Organised by Golf Saudi, the Aramco Korea Championship was the second stop on the Ladies European Tour’s (LET) newly-launched PIF Global Series, which aims to leave a lasting impact in every host country by giving back to local communities through meaningful initiatives.

As part of its broader mission to grow the game, Golf Saudi continues to drive participation through year-round programmes like its GoGolf initiative – designed to make golf more accessible across the Kingdom and inspire a new generation of Saudi talent.

With 594 participants involved in CSR initiatives and five charities supported at the Aramco Korea Championship, it proved to be an important week of giving back – reflecting the PIF Global Series’ commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where it stages tournaments.

First Tee Korea
As part of its on-going commitment to youth development, the Aramco Korea Championship partnered with First Tee Korea to deliver a wide-reaching initiative that engaged 362 participants. The programme included six weeks of golf clinics – hosted both before, during, and after the tournament – at venues including New Korea Country Club, Kakao VX Pangyo, South Springs Country Club and Jack Nicklaus Golf Club.

Major winner Choi Na-yeon led the opening clinic, with certified coaches supporting the remainder. First Tee Korea participants also enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the tournament, autograph sessions with LET players, complimentary tickets, F&B vouchers, and gifts. In addition, 1,214 Titleist range balls were donated, and 20% of total ticket revenue was contributed to support First Tee Korea’s on-going mission to develop life skills through golf.

In partnership with five charitable organisations, including First Tee Korea, the Aramco Korea Championship delivered a series of tailored experiences designed to inspire, engage, and give back to the local community throughout tournament week.

Suhmoon Girls’ Middle School

A group of students and parents attended on the final day of the tournament, enjoying a golf lesson and Q&A with team-winning captain Sara Kouskova. Each attendee received complimentary tickets, caps, and F&B vouchers, creating a special experience that inspired the next generation of female golfers.

Goyang Multi-cultural Family Support Centre
Established in 2008 and operated by the Happy World Welfare Foundation on behalf of Goyang City, the centre supports multi-cultural families by helping immigrants adapt to Korean society and fostering a stable family life. A total of 50 children and parents attended the tournament and received tickets, caps, and F&B vouchers. The event offered a fun, inclusive environment and helped create lasting memories for families from diverse backgrounds.

Korea Food for the Hungry International
Fifteen representatives from Korea Food for the Hungry International were welcomed to the tournament where they were also treated to complimentary access, meals, and branded gifts, in recognition for their vital efforts to combat poverty in all its forms and support vulnerable communities.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Korea
