Rugby, England: Bernhard and Company, an industry leader in fine turf maintenance solutions, has appointed Daryl Nagy as its new Sales Manager for North America.

“We are delighted to be promoting Daryl into this important leadership role,” said Steven Nixon, Managing Director of Bernhard and Company, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“His deep understanding of the North American market, coupled with his experience working for Bernhard and Company and his decades of technical sales experience, make him an ideal fit to continue building strong relationships with our customers and partners across the region,” added Nixon.

Nagy has been with Bernhard and Company since October 2023 and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the turf industry.

His extensive expertise in managing and maintaining golf and turf equipment will play a key role in further strengthening the company’s position across North America.

Before joining Bernhard and Company, Nagy spent 22 years as a Distributor Branch Manager in Canada, focusing on turf equipment sales and working closely with Bernhard and Company products throughout that time.

He then served four years as a Distributor Service Manager, where he led a team responsible for the support and repair of turf machinery. Earlier in his career, Nagy worked as a Golf Course Equipment Manager for four years, concentrating on the quality of turf and course presentation.

Commenting on his appointment, Nagy said: “In addition to working for Bernhard and Company already, I’ve worked with Bernhard equipment for many years and have always admired the company’s commitment to innovation and customer service.

“I’m excited to take on this role and look forward to further supporting our customers and distributor partners in delivering outstanding turf quality across North America.”

Nixon added: “North America is a hugely important market for us, and we’re proud to have someone as accomplished as Daryl leading the way. His experience and customer-first mindset will ensure we continue helping turf professionals achieve the best possible turf health.”
