Bangkok, Thailand: Centaur Asia Pacific’s partnership with ECHO Robotics goes from strength to strength with the deployment of more fully electric robotic mowers and ball-pickers across golf courses, driving ranges, and airports.
One of Centaur’s most recent installations is at Bangsai Country Club in Thailand, where the first ECHO Robotics mower autonomously maintains the rough areas.
The club’s owner sought a robotic solution, and now the Course Superintendent manages the mower via a web-based application. After a successful introduction, the working area will soon expand to have one mower covering multiple holes.
Using RTK positioning, the mower ensures precise mowing and boundary definition, all while being monitored via phone, iPad, or computer.
“As a trusted distributor of ECHO in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand, Centaur Asia Pacific remains committed to providing cutting-edge, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly robotic solutions,” said Jeffrey Eshuis, Managing Director, Hong Kong, for Centaur, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“With strong partnerships and a vision for the future, we continue to lead the way in automated turf maintenance,” added Eshuis.
