Danang, Vietnam: Elevating Asian golf to new heights is the aim of Dandelly Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh, the Asian Golf Industry Federation’s (AGIF) newest Board member.

Nguyen, Managing Director of 54 Vietnam, was elected to the Board at the Federation’s Annual General Meeting last week.

“Asian golf is changing, and Vietnam is at the heart of this transformation. Joining the AGIF Board is an opportunity for us to bring new energy, strategic vision, and a long-term commitment to shaping the future of golf,” said Nguyen, who held meetings with AGIF President Chris Gray during the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific championship at Hoiana Shores Golf Club.

She added: “With Asian golf experiencing rapid growth, the AGIF needs to be more than just a professional platform; it must be a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and strategic investment.

“54 has always been at the forefront of raising industry standards and creating sustainable growth opportunities. I look forward to working with regional leaders to make a meaningful impact and elevate Vietnamese and Asian golf to new heights.”

Gray, Head of Sustainable Golf – Asia-Pacific at The R&A, said Nguyen will bring fresh perspectives to the Federation.

“This is the first time 54 has had representation on the Board and I have no doubt that the AGIF will reap many benefits from Dandelly’s drive and expertise,” said Gray.

Nguyen also highlighted the significance of becoming the first Vietnamese female to join the AGIF Board.

She said: “This is not just a personal achievement, but also a sign that golf is becoming more open, diverse, and forward-thinking. I hope to contribute to a more inclusive golf industry where all talents have the opportunity to develop and thrive.

“Golf is more than just an inclusive sport, it’s an opportunity to open new horizons and create a sustainable and innovative future for Vietnam and the entire region.”
