Club Car Continues China Golfing Drive

Shanghai, China: As the vehicle partner for the 30th edition of the Volvo China Open, not only will Club Car continue its quest to champion sustainability through eco-friendly solutions, but also aim to advance golf’s growth in the country.

The DP World Tour event at Enhance Anting Golf Club from April 17-20 will mark the return of the national Open to Shanghai for the first time in 10 years.

The newly upgraded Tempo Li-Ion V cart, equipped with lithium-ion batteries and an advanced powertrain, delivers long-lasting endurance and smooth operation, effortlessly tackling diverse terrains.

The Tempo Li-Ion V also features a robust structure with an aviation-grade aluminium A-frame chassis, BMS battery management system, DBR dynamic braking resistors, and multiple safety mechanisms, ensuring all-round protection for drivers and passengers. Its IP67-rated battery pack guarantees high reliability even in rainy or humid conditions.

The Villager 6 and Villager 8 models, renowned for their durability and comfort, will offer luxurious shuttle services for players, staff, guests, and spectators.

The Carryall Series, one of the market’s most versatile utility vehicles, is engineered for heavy-duty tasks. Customised Carryall ambulances will serve as mobile medical units, providing emergency care and rehabilitation services for all participants.

The Transporter Series, known for its agility and comfort, is ideal for complex logistical tasks. At the event, the T4 and T6 models will handle equipment transport, maintenance, and more.

During the 2025 Volvo China Open, Club Car’s 66th Anniversary Limited Edition Tempo Li-Ion V Golf Cart – a meticulously crafted 1:24 scale alloy replica – will be available at the on-site store with a 5% discount.
