Hua Hin, Thailand: Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin has appointed Brian Gibson as General Manager.

Gibson is a British PGA Golf Professional, originally hailing from Scotland, who has extensive operational and management experience obtained from several celebrated facilities in China, India, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

Gibson has joined Pineapple Valley Golf Club from Aquella Golf & Country Club, in Phang Nga, just outside of Phuket, where he has been General Manager since 2022.

As General Manager of Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Gibson, supported by management company Absolute Golf Services, oversees all areas of club management, golf operations, member relations, food and beverage, and team development.

Gibson is succeeding Simon Mees, who recently moved to Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Vietnam.

Established in 2009 in a former pineapple plantation and originally named Banyan Golf Club, the Pineapple Valley course was meticulously designed by Thailand’s number one golf course architect, Pirapon Namatra.

Recognised for excellence, the club has earned acclaim as one of Asia-Pacific’s premier golf destinations over the course of the past decade, amassing more than 60 awards.

As well as being named ‘The Best Golf Club Experience in Asia-Pacific’, the club was recently voted ‘Best Golf Course in Thailand’ by 15,000 international travellers.

The course is complemented by an iconic Thai-style clubhouse, the popular Mulligan’s Pub and the all-day dining venue, The Terrace Restaurant.
