Singapore: Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course continues to be recognised as a premier golfing destination, capturing the titles of Singapore’s Best Golf Course and Asia’s Best Golf Course at the 2024 World Golf Awards.

Additionally, Sentosa Golf Club was named Asia’s Best Eco-Friendly Golf Facility, further highlighting its on-going commitment to sustainable practices and environmental leadership within the golfing community.

In May, the LIV Golf Singapore tournament on The Serapong, which is set to return in 2025 for the third consecutive year, saw American Brooks Koepka secure his fourth LIV Golf League victory, two strokes ahead of Australians Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith.

Andy Johnston, General Manager, Director of Agronomy, and Resident Golf Course Designer at Sentosa Golf Club, expressed his pride in the club’s recent achievements.

Johnston said: “Being recognised as both Singapore’s and Asia’s best is a proud milestone for our team. These accolades reflect our dedication to providing an exceptional golf experience, from course design to tournament-ready conditions.

“The Serapong’s unique blend of challenging play and natural beauty makes it a standout destination, and we’re thrilled to see our efforts acknowledged at this level.”

Additionally, the 2024 HSBC Women’s World Championship at Sentosa Golf Club witnessed Hannah Green clinch the title with a 30-foot birdie putt on the final hole, finishing at 13-under, edging out Celine Boutier by one stroke.
