North Carolina, United States: Envu US has been named a ‘Great Place to Work’. The distinguished certification is awarded based on employee feedback around three key factors: trust, pride and camaraderie.
An Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, Envu is a global company with 272 employees in the United States.
Founded in 1992 by Robert Levering and Amy Lyman, ‘Great Place to Work’ has evolved into a global authority on workplace culture. The organisation is dedicated to shaping positive workplace cultures worldwide.
The ‘Great Place to Work’ survey was distributed to all Envu employees in the US. According to their results, employees feel like they are treated well regardless of their race and gender and feel people care about each other in the workplace.
Additional findings from US-based Envu employees include:
“Last year, Envu collectively provided over 6,000 hours of training for employees,” said Mark Schneid, Envu’s Head of Commercial Operations, North America.
He added: “People are our greatest asset, and we ensure that we support on-going development with various programmes enabling each employee to unleash their full potential.
“We firmly believe that both people development and embracing diversity, equity and inclusion not only enrich the lives of our employees but also strengthen our ability to serve our customers.”
As part of the company’s ESG commitment, Envu is committed to creating healthier spaces and people. US-based teams are turning environmental challenges into a positive force across seven different business segments, including golf.
In the US, Envu products are used by 5,000 superintendents, according to a company news release, reported Golf Industry News.
Schneid said: “Whether fighting pests that cause disease and illness in both urban and rural populations or working to identify and control invasive weeds that encroach on essential public spaces, we are constantly striving to keep society moving forward while striking a balance with nature.
“We are proud to support the industries we serve in the US and to provide our employees a great place to work in doing so.”
