Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: Troon-affiliated facilities have been recognised for outstanding performance in 2023 at the company’s annual Global Leadership Conference.

Facilities from the Troon family of brands, including CADDIEMASTER, Cliff Drysdale Tennis, Icon Management, Indigo Sports, Troon Golf, Troon International and Troon Privé, were honoured for operational and guest/member service excellence.

Among the award-winners announced at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona were:

  • Cliff Drysdale Facility of the Year: Racquet Club at Baha Marin Nassau, The Bahamas.
  • Icon Management Facility of the Year: Heritage Landing Golf & Country Club in Punta Gorda, Florida.
  • Indigo Sports Facility of the Year: Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
  • Troon Golf Facility of the Year: Ocean Club Golf Course in Paradise Island, The Bahamas.
  • Troon International Facility of the Year: PGA National Czech Republic in Prague, Czech Republic.
  • Troon Privé Facility of the Year: Red Ledges Golf Club in Heber City, Utah.

In addition, Troon Associates from Kapalua Golf & Tennis, Ka’anapali Golf Courses and The King Kamehameha Club on Maui, Hawaii received the Garmany Award, recognising their relentless dedication to their community following the wildfires of August 8, 2023.

Named after Troon Founder Dana Garmany, the Garmany award honours extraordinary efforts by team members throughout the company.

Like many members of the Maui community, Troon Associates at Kapalua, Ka’anapali and The King Kamehameha Club suffered extreme hardship, including the loss of life and the total loss of homes, cars and personal belongings. Since the wildfires, Troon Associates have been instrumental in helping the Maui community heal, recover and rebuild.

“Congratulations to the winners and all who were nominated for the ‘Facility of the Year’ awards,” said Mike Ryan, Chief Operating Officer at Troon, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“Thank you to all Troon Associates, throughout the Troon family of brands, for your hard work, dedication and for setting the standards in service, quality and hospitality,” he added.

Under the theme Transformational Leadership – Pathway to the Future, the 2024 Troon Global Leadership Conference featured keynote speakers, group training sessions and company updates.

In total, more than 520 Troon Associates attended the conference, including managers from 190 Troon-affiliated facilities.
