Envu’s Guide to Mastering the Unpredictable

Cary, North Carolina, United States: The Envu Golf team continued its commitment to help golf course superintendents master the unpredictable at the 2024 Golf Course Superintendents’ Association of America (GCSAA) Conference and Trade Show.

By introducing new solutions and showcasing its expertise and innovations, Envu is focused on helping golf course superintendents plan for the unexpected.

“As the world’s largest standalone environmental science company, we are focused on innovating new agronomic solutions to help golf course superintendents master the unpredictability they face every year,” said Mark Ford, Campaign Activation Manager for Golf at Envu, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“At GCSAA, we were able to demonstrate how we deliver innovation with a fun and engaging booth experience,” added Ford.

Envu Golf is a GCSAA Gold Partner and had a significant presence at this year’s event:

Expert Agronomic Advice: At the Envu booth, the renowned Green Solutions Team shared world-class expertise and provided information about the challenges golf course superintendents face in their agronomic zones, and what treatments are best. Envu also gave golf course superintendents an inside look at the most innovative solutions in the industry.

Envu is launching new products this year, so golf course superintendents who visited the booth were able to learn more about them and how to incorporate them into their programmes.

  • Resilia root health solution is the first all-in-one product on the market that can be proactively applied to safeguard roots from dangerous underground threats to keep turf healthy, beautiful and playable all season long.
  • Stressgard brand fungicides have gone beyond disease control for over 25 years, bringing golf course superintendents a greener, healthier course with a solution for stresses across every season.
  • Tetrino insecticide sets a new standard for controlling white grubs, annual bluegrass weevils and other turf-damaging insects with fast-acting, flexible and season-long protection.

Flyaway Geese Photos and Giveaways: There were also fun daily giveaways with a spin-to-win wheel and opportunities for attendees to take photos with dogs from Flyaway Geese, an organisation that trains elite dogs as a solution for humanely moving unwanted wildlife from golf courses. Envu sponsored a grand prize giveaway of a Flyaway Geese dog to a golf course superintendent.

Green Start Academy Reunion: Envu, along with John Deere and Rain Bird, co-hosted a reunion of all Green Start Academy participants and mentors. There was a celebration of the 2023 class on January 31 on the main stage. The leadership and development programme graduated its 18th class this past December.

Innovation at Work: Envu experts took to the main stage on February 1 for an educational session about leveraging Envu innovations to match weather curveballs.

Happy Hour: Attendees joined the Envu team to celebrate another successful GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. Ford said: “We at Envu are proud to be GCSAA Gold Partner. We love coming back to GCSAA every year to reconnect with our friends from across the industry. We enjoy showcasing our innovations while providing opportunities for education and entertainment.”
