Bangkok, Thailand: A full line-up of speakers has been announced for this year’s eagerly-anticipated PGA of Great Britain & Ireland (PGA of GB&I) Members’ International Conference.
Internationally-renowned Mind Factor coach founder and PGA Professional Karl Morris headlines an impressive list of speakers for the event at the exclusive Banyan Tree property in downtown Bangkok from April 22-25.
Widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading golf performance coaches, Morris has worked with six Major championship winners, over 100 PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LPGA players including Louis Oosthuizen, Darren Clarke, Graeme McDowell, Lee Westwood, Paul McGinley, Ryan Fox and Laurie Canter.
Morris is also the brains behind the Mind Factor – a practical approach to performance coaching for golfers of all levels that is based on real-world experience as opposed to classroom theory.
As a consultant to The PGA of GB&I, Morris has presented seminars all over the world and has a passion for demystifying psychology and providing a range of tools to assist performance breakthrough at all levels of golf.
PGA Members and delegates will have the unique opportunity during the Conference to study with Morris, to understand and apply the in-depth principles and application of The Mind Factor in their daily management and coaching.
Other speakers confirmed for the 2024 conference include: Spencer Robinson (Chief Communications Officer, Asian Golf Industry Federation), Michael Moir (Founder & Managing Director, Fenix Apparel), Chris Geraghty (General Manager, Vattanac Golf Resort, Cambodia), DJ Flanders (Senior Vice President, Troon International) and Carl Heaton (Marketing and Communications Specialist).
In addition, Rob Cheney (Director of Operations, Golf Tec Singapore) and the team from Titleist Asia will also be presenting.
PGA of GB&I Chief Executive Robert Maxfield will also be in attendance to provide PGA Members with an update on the Association’s activities last year and plans for 2024 and beyond.
This year’s conference will primarily be based at The Banyan Tree Resort Bangkok and will also visit the All Thailand Tour Golf Centre for all practical coaching sessions.
In addition to the educational element and the chance to learn from golf industry experts, the conference affords delegates superb networking opportunities with more than 50 PGA Members from 16 countries attending the last time the conference was held in 2023.

Among those who attended last year’s gathering was Peter Downie, a long-standing PGA of GB&I member and General Manager at Hong Kong’s Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
