Jakarta, Indonesia: Dennis Kloeth, a passionate promoter of golf in Indonesia, has passed away at the age of 77 following a lengthy battle with a heart problem.

Born and raised in Indonesia by a Dutch father and Indonesian mother, Kloeth was also a well-known golf photographer and publisher.

Over the past quarter of a century, he dedicated himself to promoting Indonesian golf, mainly in Europe, but also in the United States, through his Indo Golf Travel and his Golf Promo Indonesia.

He also regularly published The Golfers’ Guide of Indonesia, and later Jakarta Golf Destination, a definitive guide to stay and play golf in Indonesia and around Jakarta.

Raka Kurnia, Managing Editor at Golfin Style, wrote: “Dennis was a giant of Indonesian golf tourism and promoter of golf in Indonesia. His passing is a sad day for golf in Indonesia.”
