Bogor, Indonesia: Steven Thielke has been appointed as General Manager at Trump International Golf Club in Indonesia.
With more than 30 years of experience in the golf and leisure industry, Thielke brings a wealth of expertise to contribute to the exciting new era of Indonesian golf.
Trump International Golf Club, Lido is located in Bogor and situated within an integrated special economic zone called MNC Lido City.
Designed by Ernie Els, the course integrates with its natural surroundings, offering golfers a memorable experience. The clubhouse, designed by the Oppenheimer Group, will provide luxurious amenities and dining options.

“His vast experience and leadership will undoubtedly elevate our club to great heights and contribute to the growth of Indonesian golf.”
A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Thielke’s career has included successful stints as General Manager at well-known golf courses, resorts, and country clubs in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa.
Prior to moving to Bogor, Thielke’s most recent role was as General Manager at the Singapore Island Country Club.
Thielke’s accomplishments extend to Malaysia’s largest real estate developer as CEO of Sime Darby Property’s Leisure Division. During his tenure at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), he spearheaded the establishment of the Tournament Players Club (TPC) – TPC Kuala Lumpur, which hosted several major international golf and tennis events.
Previously, Thielke (pictured left) had been involved with a variety of prestigious projects such as The Dunes at Shenzhou Peninsula in Hainan, China, and South Africa’s acclaimed Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate, which hosted the 2003 Presidents Cup.
Thielke is currently serving as a Board member with the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
