The 54-hole PGA International Pro-Am, to be held from October 23-30, includes a practice round at Laguna Golf Phuket plus tournament rounds on three of Phuket’s finest championship courses – Laguna Golf Phuket, Aquella Golf & Country Club and Red Mountain Golf Club.

The PGA International Pro-Am package costs £1,790 per amateur for five nights and £1,990 for seven nights (with options to upgrade). In addition to the four rounds of golf and accommodation, the price also includes: welcome drinks party and barbecue; welcome gift; daily breakfast buffet; cart and caddie fees; practice balls to warm up prior to play; gala dinner and prize presentation; airport transfers.

With a professional prize fund of £18,000, there is plenty for PGA Members to play for, while there are generous prizes on offer for their amateur partners.

“We are delighted to announce this exciting new pro-am to be staged at the wonderful Laguna Phuket in Thailand,” said Wayne Johnson, Regional Manager (International) at the PGA of GB&I, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to play three of Phuket’s finest golf courses and stay at the five-star beachfront Laguna Phuket resort, which recently hosted our 2023 PGA Members’ International Conference.

“There is an £18,000 prize fund on offer for PGA Members, and for amateurs this is a must for any golf enthusiasts looking for a golf trip of a lifetime, which allows you to combine a tournament pro-am experience with spectacular accommodation and hospitality. It will be an experience you will never forget!”

Set against the backdrop of the Andaman Sea, Laguna Phuket spans over 1,000 acres of lush parkland and a three-kilometre beachfront located just a 25-minute drive from Phuket International Airport.

It offers an 18-hole course, eight world-class hotels, luxury spas, exceptional dining options, and countless activities to create unforgettable experiences.
