Tokyo, Japan: Taiga Semikawa and airweave, inc, the top-selling brand of premium bedding toppers and pillows in Japan, have entered a one-year partnership, brokered by global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE.
Under the agreement, two-time Japan Tour winner Semikawa will endorse airweave’s range of sleep solution products and be featured in airweave’s global marketing and advertising initiatives.
The partnership between Semikawa and airweave has been facilitated by SPORTFIVE, the management and marketing representative for the former world number one amateur golfer.

Founded in 2007, airweave has been developing premium bedding toppers that feature a highly resilient structure and an ergonomic, breathable design in which air comprises 90 per cent of the product’s proprietary airfibre material.
The Japanese bedding brand has also partnered with and supplied its products to major international sporting events, including the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Initially designed with high-performance athletes in mind, airweave has since gained popularity among consumers seeking a better night’s sleep, expanding into China, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the US.
Airweave joins a growing list of brand partners brought together by SPORTFIVE for Semikawa, including the recently announced partnership with Art Moving Company.
