Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Indigrow’s participation at this month’s HortEx Vietnam has been hailed an overwhelming success.
During the show – the first specialised exhibition for horticultural production in Vietnam – Indigrow launched a new, innovative product, Indiflo Amine.
The product has been developed by Indigrow’s technical team to reduce the premature fruit fall in Durian along with increasing the overall health and yield of the Durian tree. The innovative new product was well received by visitors to the Indigrow stand.
“Durian is an important high value crop for the region and this latest development will be of significant interest to farmers and growers alike,” said Brian Croose, Asean Regional Manager at Indigrow, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
By supplying nitrogen to the plant in the form of NH₂ it can immediately be used in the synthesis of amino acids and other organic compounds, conserving energy that may be used for growth.
Croose said: “We have been overwhelmed by the amount of interest and leads which were collected during the three days of Hortex Vietnam.
“Indigrow is now looking for business partners who we can work with to help bring our range of nutritional products into Vietnam as well as other countries in the Southeast Asia region.
“This area is an exciting marketplace for Indigrow and the specialist products which are being developed for the climate and regional crops.
“Following the success of HortEx, Indigrow is looking forward to supporting future Asian Golf Industry Federation events and returning to face-to-face discussions with fellow AGIF members and the rest of the of the golf and managed sports turf industry.”
