Golf Industry Career Zone at PGA Show

PGA Show 2022

Orlando, United States: The 2023 PGA Show will feature a new golf industry Career Zone where PGA Professionals, college students and second-career professionals can connect with employers right on the Show Floor.

In addition to company recruiting activations, the Career Zone will host employer-led panel presentations and networking events.

Organised by the PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, the 70th PGA Show in Orlando will bring together thousands of PGA Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world who will source new products from nearly 800 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops, and also connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf.

The PGA Show begins on January 24 with the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day at Orange County National Golf Centre and moves to the Orange County Convention Centre from January 25-27, for exhibits and a full schedule of industry events.

The new Career Zone at the PGA Show will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on January 25-26, and is co-located with the PGA Golf Management University Pavilion at Show Floor location #3577.

Leading golf industry companies will be featured each day and will share information about their businesses while recruiting for open positions with job seekers at all career levels.

Among the companies participating in the Career Zone as recruiting employers are Acushnet, NBC Sports, NGSA (National Golf Sales Association), PGA of America, Troon and USGA.

PGA Career Services will moderate panel discussions with varying employers on January 25-26. On both days, there will be sessions about ‘Where Should I Start My Golf Career’ and ‘Work Life Balance’.

As part of the Career Zone Passport Programme, PGA Professionals, college students and second-career professionals will have the opportunity to network with potential employers.

The PGA of America and Troon are both Executive Members of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
