Phuket, Thailand: Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) members will be to the fore at the 2023 PGA of Great Britain & Ireland Members’ International Conference.
To be held at Laguna Phuket from March 20-23, the gathering promises to bring together PGA of GB&I Members and golfing delegates from all over the world.
Among an impressive list of speakers confirmed for the conference are a quintet of senior executives from five AGIF member companies – DJ Flanders (Senior Vice President, Troon International); Mark Siegel (CEO, Golfasian); Brad Burgess (Director, Sports Turf Solutions Asia); Adam Calver (Director of Golf, Laguna Lang Co) and Eric Lynge (Director, Sporting Insights Asia).
Also participating is DP World Tour and Asian Tour short game specialist coach Matthew Tipper, widely regarded as an expert in golf instruction and player development.
Originally from South Wales, Tipper, who has coached in Malaysia, Dubai, Poland, Portugal and China, will conduct an exclusive short game clinic to delegates.
PGA of GB&I Chief Executive Robert Maxfield will also be in attendance to provide International Members with an update on the Association’s activities in 2022, which included the launch of PGA Play and PGA Excel. He will also brief Members on The PGA’s plans for 2023 and beyond.
Commenting on the event returning in 2023 following a three-year hiatus, Wayne Johnson, PGA of GB&I Regional Manager (Overseas), said: “We are delighted to announce an exciting line-up of speakers for the 2023 PGA Members’ International Conference at the stunning Laguna Phuket in Thailand.
“The conference is a great way to meet fellow PGA Members, share ideas and learn from some of the most respected figures the golf industry.”
The PGA of Great Britain & Ireland (Executive) and Laguna Phuket (Facility) are both members of the AGIF.
