Saudi Arabia: Nesma United Industries, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF), is leading the way for golf construction in Saudi Arabia.
To meet the demand for golf development as part of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision, Nesma United has invested heavily in specialist golf construction equipment.
Furthermore, Nesma United has teamed up with fellow AGIF member Green Dynasty Pte Ltd under an exclusive agreement to undertake projects in the Kingdom.
Having successfully completed the first of many Giga project golf courses, alongside other existing golf courses, Nesma is now planning to expand in numerous regions across the Kingdom with the development of its golf maintenance division, complementing its landscaping arm of the business.
To support its current projects, Nesma developed its own turf nursery with certified Northbridge Bermuda supplied by Atlas Turf International, also an AGIF member.
Nesma has adopted a sustainable approach to how it undertakes projects by heavily investing in both hybrid equipment and low sulphur heavy equipment.
In so doing, it’s the aim to ensure that all works the company undertakes support the objective of its clients in obtaining environmental and sustainable certification.
Chady Menhem, Division Manager for Nesma United, said the company’s biggest asset is its personnel.
Engaging specialists in golf construction, irrigation and agronomy to complement its internal team, and working with fellow AGIF members and suppliers, has allowed the company to set new standards in golf construction and provide projects with a full pallet of services to meet the development requirements.
