Aquella Welcomes New Brand Ambassador

Aquella Golf & Country Club General Manager Simon Mees welcomes Brandon Han as the Thai venue’s newest brand ambassador.

Phang Nga, Thailand: Aquella Golf & Country Club, one of Thailand’s newest 18-hole venues, has announced the latest addition to its brand ambassador programme.

Brandon Han Zhen Guang, one of Singapore’s elite young players, has joined the expanding stable of players to be supported by the Pacific Coast Design-sculpted venue.

Currently studying at the Singapore Sports School and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the 20-year-old is preparing to graduate, after which he’ll look at furthering his golfing career, with the goal of turning professional.

Han has represented Singapore in numerous international events as part of the Singapore National Squad. Late last year he made his debut in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, finishing in a share of 33rd place in Dubai. He is currently Singapore’s third highest-rated player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in 782nd spot.

As a representative of Aquella, Han will help to increase exposure and awareness of the club within the Singaporean golfing community through his presence in both domestic and international events.

“I had heard many great things about Aquella Golf & Country Club and was delighted when they reached out to me with this opportunity. I feel privileged to be associated with such a wonderful and ambitious facility and look forward to working with the management to help them further expand its burgeoning reputation within the Singapore market,” said Han, a member of the Singapore team at this year’s Southeast Asian Games.

“We were introduced to Brandon through one of our media affiliates, who could not speak highly enough of him and his abilities both on and off the course. Following engaging conversations on our collaboration, it is easy to see why he is held in such high regard,” said Simon Mees, General Manager at Aquella, a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“Brandon is an extremely personable young man who is immensely passionate about his golf, displaying maturity beyond his years with boundless ambition to further his golfing career, which is something we can all relate to. It is our pleasure to support him on his journey, and we look forward to supporting him as he climbs through the ranks,” added Mees.

As well as its 18-hole layout, Aquella Golf & Country Club features an elegant clubhouse, cosy restaurant, modern pro-shop, covered driving range, an 18-hole fun miniature putt-putt course, a first-class spa and an extensive gym.
