Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: Troon and the company’s 20,000-plus associates congratulate Team Troon member Justin Thomas on his play-off victory at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Thomas is now a two-time Major winner, capturing his second PGA Championship (2017).

Team Troon is a collection of top international golf talent representing the Troon brand throughout professional golf.

Thomas is joined on Team Troon by PGA Tour golfers Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson of the United States, Matthew Fitzpatrick of England, Alex Noren of Sweden, PGA Tour Champions golfer and World Golf Hall of Famer Colin Montgomerie of Scotland, and LPGA Tour/Ladies European Tour player Cheyenne Woods.

The Troon logo has a presence on each golfer’s golf bag, while Woods and Fitzpatrick carry full Troon-branded golf bags embroidered on the pockets.

Thomas’ PGA Championship win is the second Major championship for a Team Troon member, adding to Woodland’s 2019 US Open win at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

“Congratulations to Justin and the entire Thomas family on this incredible victory,” said Tim Schantz, President and CEO at Troon, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“Given the Thomas’ long connection with the PGA of America it is apropos that both of Justin’s Majors have come at the PGA Championship, a tournament conducted by PGA professionals, the backbone of the golf and club industries.

“Troon is proud to partner with the Thomas’ (Justin and father Mike Thomas) through Team Troon, as well the PGA of America in growing the game of golf around the world.”

Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, is the largest employer of PGA of America members and associates with more than 600 employed at facilities worldwide.

Fellow Team Troon member Fitzpatrick finished fifth at the PGA Championship. His all-Troon golf bag was customised for the PGA Championship and was inspired by the many Troon-affiliated PGA Professionals, members and apprentices that are dedicated to growing the game of golf.

Fitzpatrick’s bag included PGA of America colours, the Troon logo, and shared that Troon is the largest employer of PGA professionals.

Like Troon, the PGA of America is an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
