Phan Thiet, Vietnam: PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet, a premier new destination for golf in Vietnam, is open for business and ready to welcome intrepid international golfers now the Vietnamese Tourism Ministry has lifted all Covid-19 related quarantine and travel restrictions.
Located less than 200 kilometres east of Ho Chi Minh City and set among one of the region’s most exciting new lifestyle projects, PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet is a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
The venue offers 36 holes sculpted by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Built with the environment in mind, the PGA Ocean Course offers a mixture of parkland and links-style golf along the coastline, providing a varied test for golfers of all abilities – as well as stunning sea views.
Meanwhile, the newly-opened PGA Garden Course was inspired by the iconic ‘Sandbelt’ region of Melbourne, Australia, and features large bunkers integrated into the surrounds of the green complexes.
The club is one of many key sports complexes within the NovaWorld Phan Thiet development, a 1,000-hectare oceanside ‘supercity’ project that will be connected to Ho Chi Minh City in less than two hours once the new Dau Giay-Phan Thiet Highway is completed this year.
Andrew Bowles, Nova Golf Clubs – Managing Director, said: “PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet is one of the most ambitious golf developments in world. Undeniably a new jewel in Vietnam’s golfing crown, but thanks to Covid-19 the venue has been relatively untouched.
“Our goal is to not only develop PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet into one of the leading destinations for golf in Vietnam, but also within Asia, with state-of-the-art facilities available for every golfer to enjoy. We cannot wait to welcome everyone.”
As well as delivering world-class facilities, PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet also provides a premier off-course experience, with luxury properties in development alongside the course routing offering modern features and stunning views across the property.
