Singapore: Jebsen & Jessen Technology’s Turf & Irrigation Division has appointed Philipp Hoffmann as the company’s new Regional Director, effective today (January 1, 2022).

Hoffmann relocated with his family to Bangkok, Thailand, at the end of 2021, preparing to take over from Marc von Grabowski, who will be transitioning into a new role within the group this year.

Hoffmann first joined the Jebsen & Jessen Family Enterprise in 2007 as an intern for sister-group GMA Garnet in Perth, Australia. After a brief stint at Tesa Tape Asia-Pacific in 2008, he returned to the group in 2009, working for Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients in Thailand.

He held various regional marketing and business development roles in Ingredients before being appointed as General Manager – and later Managing Director – of the newly-formed joint venture JJ-Pun in Myanmar in 2011.

In 2016, Hoffmann worked as President for start-up company YPB Group in Thailand, then returned to Myanmar in 2018 to join Jebsen & Jessen’s joint venture partner, Yoma Group, as Chief Performance Officer and Chief of Staff. He was seconded as Managing Director of JJ-Pun in 2020.

Hoffmann earned a degree in International Business from Kiel University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and an MBA from the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

In his new role, Hoffmann will lead the Turf & Irrigation team across the region, continuing to grow the organisation to better serve its customers with comprehensive and innovative solutions for their turf and landscaping needs.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Marc’s contribution during his time with Jebsen & Jessen Technology. We wish Philipp Hoffmann and Marc von Grabowski all the very best in their new roles,” said Per Magnusson, Chief Executive Officer, Jebsen & Jessen Technology, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
