San Diego, United States: The Bayer Turf & Ornamentals team has announced its events for the 2022 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show.
The Green Solutions Team will share world-class expertise and give golf course superintendents an inside look at new and innovative solutions, including Tetrino, Densicor and Stressgard.
“The entire Bayer team is thrilled to reconnect with golf course superintendents at the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show this year,” said Alison McFee, Head of Marketing for the US Turf and Ornamentals business at Bayer, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“We know golf course superintendents work hard every day, so we designed a booth experience that will give them a place to recharge while connecting with our experts on solutions that will help them achieve consistently beautiful and playable turf year-round,” added McFee.
Attendees are encouraged to visit the Bayer booth (#3822) to meet with experts and relax with massage chairs, a bar, pool table, dart board and recharging stations. There will also be fun daily giveaways and opportunities for attendees to take photos with dogs from Flyaway Geese, an organisation that trains dogs as a solution for humanely moving unwanted wildlife from golf courses.
Additionally, Bayer is sponsoring a grand prize giveaway of two Flyaway Geese dogs to golf course superintendents. Flyaway Geese has been a force in the wildlife management industry for 20 years, trusted to not only perform wildlife management but also provide fully trained dogs for hundreds of golf courses, military bases, airports and corporate facilities.
Bayer is also sponsoring the GCSAA grant programme, which helps cover costs for 10 golf course superintendents to attend the conference.
At the conference, Bayer will celebrate the 2021 class of Green Start Academy and encourage assistant superintendents to apply for the 2022 programme in the summer.
Now in its 17th year, the leadership and development programme is co-hosted by Bayer and fellow AGIF Executive Members John Deere and Rain Bird.
“We cannot wait to meet with golf course superintendents and bring them our Maintain Your Edge booth experience so they can refresh and achieve even more success in the future,” said McFee.
