Registration Opens for GCSAA Conference and Trade Show

Lawrence, Kansas, United States: Members of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and others can now register for the 2022 Golf Conference and Trade Show, which will take place from February 5-10 at the San Diego Convention Centre.

Known as the Golf Industry Show from 2005-2021, the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show will continue to offer a dynamic week of unparalleled education, networking opportunities and access to golf course and facility management solutions for golf industry professionals.

The event is produced by GCSAA along with presenting partners, the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) and American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) and participating partners, the United States Golf Association (USGA), National Golf Course Owners Association of America (NGCOA) and National Golf Foundation (NGF).

“We are excited to return to an in-person event after the 2021 virtual show, and San Diego is a fitting place as it is consistently a favourite conference city among our attendees and exhibitors,” GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans said.

“It will be a beautiful backdrop as attendees reconnect with friends and take part in the unparalleled education, networking and trade show opportunities that make the GCSAA Conference a can’t miss event,” he added.

The event will kick off with the GCSAA Golf Championships (February 5-7) in San Diego and will include play at Torrey Pines, site of the 2021 US men’s Open. The conference portion will begin with a Welcome Reception on Monday night aboard the USS Midway.

The bulk of education and the trade show will be condensed to Tuesday through Thursday in order to offer attendees the full event experience while requiring fewer days away from work and home.

In addition, a virtual learning component will be offered (February 23-24) for those who want to take additional education or for those who were unable to attend in person.

The new schedule in San Diego will also offer concurrent education sessions and trade show time.

The GCSAA Conference will include 83 seminars and 28 Power Hours of education with 15 tracks of specialised education relevant to a particular group or topic. In addition, the post-show virtual conference will have 32 sessions of education for the entire facility.

Attendees may purchase an all-access package that includes unlimited access to all the in-person and virtual education for one price, and other packages are also available to purchase additional education a la carte.
