West Palm Beach, Florida, United States: Women’s Golf Day has partnered with Women’s Golf & Travel Concierge (WGTC) to create bespoke golf trips with women in mind.
Avid travellers and long-time veterans of the golf industry Elisa Gaudet, Founder of Women’s Golf Day, and Barbara Gutstadt, Founder of WGTC, have launched four signature experiences.
The joint effort, WGD TRIPS, kicks off with designated, custom trips curated from Gaudet’s and Gutstadt’s combined experiences and golf industry contacts around the globe.
Scheduled trips in 2022 include Paris, Florence and Rome, Marrakech, and Arizona. All include golf and unique cultural events and activities, some specifically designed just for WGD TRIP attendees.
The trips are built on experience. Women’s Golf & Travel Concierge features memorable experiences, such as the group excursion women are enjoying at the Solheim Cup this week in Ohio.
WGD TRIPS is already planning to bring women from around the world to the Solheim Cup in 2023 when it heads to Spain, a country Gaudet regards as her second home.
“I have always enjoyed travel and the experiences, education and memories that come along with any journey,” said Gaudet, who has been asked by Alicia Garrido Villacieros, President of Major Events at Deporte & Business, to be an Ambassador for Solheim 2023.
“We are starting with trips in places I have lived or have spent a great deal of time in and look forward to sharing the unique beauty, history, golf and cultural activities that each location offers,” she added.
WGTC has been named a ‘Proud Promoter’ for the 2023 Solheim Cup in Costa del Sol.
“We’re honoured to have this designation. I believe it signifies to travellers our credibility, reliability, and the efficiency of our company,” said Gutstadt, CEO of WGTC.
