London, England: Soil Scout has announced the appointment of Jim Coley as Sales Executive.
Based in the United Kingdom, Coley will be working alongside Adam Sedgwick, Soil Scout’s Vice President of International Sales, and has been tasked with identifying and growing new business opportunities in the agriculture and horticulture sector.
This new position is Soil Scout’s second sales appointment this year after Richie Stephens joined the team in January and demonstrates the company’s determination, despite the current Covid-19 restrictions to push onwards with its forecasted growth.
In joining Soil Scout, Coley brings with him a wealth of experience in the agriculture and sports turf industry. His previous positions include working as a transport manager in the arable field and, more recently, he was employed as a sales executive in the sport and agriculture sector supplying soil amendments.
Coley said: “I’m really excited to be joining Soil Scout and working with a fantastic company of professional people. I’m looking forward to bringing my energy to the team and, along with it, a desire to meet new clients and provide them with great customer service.
“I’m also hoping to have fun along the way too, tackling new challenges and experiences head on.”
Sedgwick said: “I’m really pleased that Jim has joined Soil Scout. He is someone with whom I have been keen to work with for a while now. He has all the right qualities that we are looking for in a person and also holds an impressive knowledge of the agriculture and sports turf industry.
“Despite all the current restrictions placed upon business and travel, we have continued to invest in the team and Jim will fit perfectly into our family as we make exciting plans for the company’s future.”
