Troon-Managed Egyptian Club Chooses Club Car

Cairo, Egypt: Club Car has supplied a fleet of cars to Madinaty Golf Club, a new luxury golf destination in the suburbs of Cairo.

The gated community, which opened in late 2020, boasts a Robert Trent Jones-designed 18-hole course and a nine-hole footgolf course, as well swimming pools, fitness facilities, a spa and three fine-dining restaurants.

The Troon-managed development has implemented 60 Tempo cars – 10 of which are the four-passenger model – and two Utility vehicles for the upkeep of the golf courses and facilities. The fleet was delivered by Club Car’s distribution partner in north Africa, Hydroturf Egypt.

“Madinaty Golf Club is an exciting development offering a true luxury experience in Egypt, and we are delighted to be part of it from the word go,” said Kevin Hart, Sales Director EMEA for Club Car, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“This agreement continues Club Car’s long and close relationship with Troon Golf, which started over 20 years ago. Back then they managed just a handful of courses, now they operate more than 630 of the best courses in the world. We are proud to continue the association, and we look forward to helping Madinaty Golf Club achieve its ambitious plans,” added Hart.

Josh North, General Manager at Madinaty Golf Club, said: “Club Car is synonymous with excellence, reliability and first-class customer service, and Troon has a long-lasting relationship with Club Car so it was a no-brainer when it came to selecting a new fleet.

“The performance of the vehicles has been exemplary, which is vital for servicing such a huge, multi-facility site. They are durable, extremely reliable and require minimal maintenance.

“The team at Hydroturf Egypt has also been fantastic, offering a high level of support, including giving free training to our staff in how to operate and maintain the cars.”

The Utility cars are the Carryall 500 model, the most versatile work utility vehicle in the marketplace for transporting heavy loads.

On course, golfers at Madinaty will enjoy using the award-winning Club Car Tempo, well known for its proven engineering, industry-leading durability and reliable comfort.
