Bangkok, Thailand: OMNIGOLF, a company specialising in creating and customising golfing and lifestyle entertainment zones, has joined the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

Founded by Sam Sakocius and Zenta Thomas, OMNIGOLF Entertainment Zones (EZ) offer a refreshing new concept for broadening the sport’s appeal.

Sakocius said: “The OMNIGOLF EZ concept takes truly upto-the-minute technology and integrates it into a high-end entertainment venue that is endlessly configurable so that each and every EZ can be absolutely unique to a specific site and clientele.”

Thomas said: “Our mission is to create bespoke, inclusive entertainment zones where tactile golf/VR, new/vintage games, sport courts, tailored F&B, related social promotions and more, are welcoming, fun, and irresistibly habit-forming to non-golfers and golfers alike.”

Sakocius said an OMNIGOLF EZ is suitable for casino or resort amenities as well as golf courses, clubs and training academies as part of renovations or additions, or for developers interested in building new stand-alone urban or suburban, indoor or outdoor commercial ventures.

Rather than being a franchise operation, OMNIGOLF venues are bespoke creations which are concepted and built by OMNIGOLF (which also includes a staff training programme), but owned and operated by each owner.

Thomas said: “Each is unique and designed to produce a multi-disciplinary, immersive golf entertainment experience on less land, for a fraction of the cost, with no licensing fees or restrictions.

“When possible, we focus heavily on an intimate atmosphere long on natural landscaping, real grass, comfortable accommodations, and exciting amenities that make a visit to an EZ as much fun for a non-golfer as for a dedicated low handicapper.

“However, we have also designed for 100 per cent interior venues, such as in malls or other indoor entertainment centres.”

In addition to concepting and designing full-on OMNIGOLF venues, OMNIGOLF is also designing high-end putting courses as well as chipping challenges that combine a putting course with exciting chipping options for better players.

Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Golf design and facility concepts are really evolving quickly these days and it is great that OMNIGOLF is launching a bespoke integrated offering to build participation.

“Anything that helps to raise awareness about golf and introduce the game to new audiences can only be good.

“We’re pleased to welcome OMNIGOLF as an Associate Business Member of the Federation.”
