Boston, Massachusetts, United States: To accommodate regional growth interests and opportunities, Troon has expanded and opened a corporate office in Newton, just outside Boston.

The Chapel Street location is home to a full team of associates, serving as the regional headquarters for RealFood Hospitality, Strategy and Design, while supporting managed-clubs throughout Troon’s full family of brands, including Troon Golf, Troon Privé, and others.

To mark the grand opening of the newest Troon office and RealFood headquarters, the local team, alongside the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony. City of Newton Economic Development Director Devra Bailin was present to welcome Troon and RealFood to the vibrant community of Newton.

The new office’s physical footprint includes workspace for the organisation’s current team of designers, project managers and specialists, as well as remote workstations and meeting areas to host visiting clients and partners. The build out, which aptly includes a custom kitchen design, was a collaboration of many people and local businesses.

“The office represents much of what makes this team of hospitality experts so remarkable,” said Tim Schantz, President and CEO, Troon, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“Our Boston office will help service current and future facilities throughout the Northeast, while providing an ideal environment for team members to work,” he added.

RealFood Hospitality Strategy and Design is a premier food service design and advisory firm serving the global hospitality industry. RealFood’s work has included concept development, food service design, operational advisory and brand development for more than 500 domestic and international clients, including: golf and country clubs; resorts and hotels; restaurant groups and independent operations; breweries and wineries; workplace and institutional dining facilities; family entertainment centres; and event and conference venues.

RealFood’s recent client portfolio features Autograph Collection Hotels, The Boston Beer Company, Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, Park Hyatt, Trillium Brewing Company, and ZD Wines Napa Valley.

“Our new office is a major milestone. I am constantly reminded of all the time and effort dedicated to get us here. We are driven by our belief in the importance of the hospitality experience and that our people are our magic; our new office reflects just that, and it allows for an even more collaborative culture for the RealFood team, our Troon family and the many clients and partners we are fortunate to work with every day,” said Ed Doyle, President and original Founder of RealFood and Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage at Troon.

“The room to problem-solve and innovate is more important than ever, especially given that the work we are doing right now is shaping the future of hospitality,” he added.
