Singapore: Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Board members Chris Gray and Owen Hester will participate in a Zoom webinar addressing Why New Technology is Now Essential in Golf Course Management.
Hosted by Brain Pool Tech and presented by the AGIF, the webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 26 at 3 pm (Singapore time).
Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “In the midst of Covid-19, implementing remote golf course management has become a necessity. Fortunately, technology such as drones is providing this leverage in maintaining a golf course and has shown to be invaluable in operational expenses.
“Join us to explore how this global crisis is shining new light on advanced technology and sustainability in the golf industry.”
Alongside Gray and Hester will be Bobby Carrington, a Tech Portfolio Advisor for a private equity company in New York City and Head of Customer Success at Brain Pool Tech, a company that is pioneering drone technology and an Associate Business Member of the AGIF.
Carrington will tee-off the discussion with a focus on case studies where drones and mobile technology have drastically saved operational budgets.
