Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: Troon has been selected to manage The Club at ArrowCreek in Nevada. Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon, will oversee golf and club operations, food and beverage operations as well golf course agronomy and club/membership marketing.

Located 15 miles south of downtown Reno on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, The Club at ArrowCreek features stunning views of the city and mountains. The private club offers 36 holes of golf, including The Legend Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, and The Challenge Course, a Fuzzy Zoeller design.

The 7,115-yard Legend Course opened for play in 1999, while The Challenge Course opened in 2000 and measures 7,433 yards from the tips. Both golf courses were recently improved with irrigation system upgrades, new drainage systems, bunker renovations and cart path repairs and additions.

“The Club at ArrowCreek is a stunning club and property,” said Rob DeMore, President, Troon Privé, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation. “Our team is thrilled to get started at ArrowCreek and will look to further elevate the club and take it to the next level in terms of service, food and beverage offerings, experience and more.”

The Club at ArrowCreek is in the midst of a US$40 million renovation project that includes a new pool complex, a new ‘Back Yard’ area, enhanced practice areas and additional food and beverage venues as part of phase one. The new pool complex features a 15,000 square-foot furnished deck, a 5,000 square-foot pool, an outdoor bar, flat screen televisions, an outdoor entertainment venue and more.

Amenities in the Back Yard include a new putting green that includes low-level lighting for evening events, a water feature, bocce courts and an event lawn.

In phase two of the renovation project, the club’s full-service clubhouse will be enhanced to provide members with multiple new dining options, city and mountain views and new meeting and event space, as well as a fitness centre.

“We’re excited to usher in phase one of the construction project for The Club at ArrowCreek in addition to Troon managing the club on a full-time basis,” said a representative from The Club at ArrowCreek ownership. “The Troon organisation is top-notch and we’ll look to leverage their experience and expertise to help take all areas of our operation to a higher level of quality and service.”
