TPC Kuala Lumpur’s New Year Offerings

World champion Kung Seng Keng Lion and Dragon Dance Association will perform at TPC Kuala Lumpur in January.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: TPC Kuala Lumpur will ring-in the New Year with a raft of exciting new offers aimed at enhancing its reputation as one of the region’s premier golfing establishments.

The former host to the PGA Tour’s CIMB Classic has ended 2019 on a high by maintaining its status among the Top-100 Platinum Golf and Country Club status, placing 82nd.

“We’re now looking forward to embracing the year 2020 with new and exciting offers for all walks of life to enjoy,” said a spokesperson for TPC Kuala Lumpur, a Golf Course Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

Setting the pace will be a fleet of new premium buggies equipped with the latest mobile information system. They are expected to be deployed in the first quarter of 2020, promising ‘to deliver an enhanced golfing experience at TPC Kuala Lumpur’.

On the topic of transport, cyclists will be able to celebrate the New Year in the knowledge that TPC Kuala Lumpur has installed bicycle parking bays. While their bicycles are safely parked, the cyclists can now spend more time enjoying the club’s facilities.

To that end, TPC Kuala Lumpur is promoting its Sports Pass, offering six-month, non-golfing access for guests to experience the club’s sporting facilities such as swimming pool, fitness centre, badminton, tennis, squash and more.

Food and Beverage

Starting in January, members and guests can discover a variety of local and international dishes at the club’s all-day dining outlet, designed to satisfy the palate.

Chinese New Year Promotion

With Chinese New Year around the corner, TPC Kuala Lumpur’s team of Banquet Service experts have curated a New Year Set Menu perfect for small and big groups.

Through to January 24, two sets of Reunion Menus are available featuring popular dishes such as Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang, Braised Superior Eight Seafood and Abalone Broth, Superior Soya Sauce Steamed River Patin Fish, Leaf Wrapped Glutinous Rice Hong Kong Style, Chilled Longan with Sea Coconut and Lemon.

To celebrate the Year of the Rat, there will then be three Chinese New Year Set Menus, from January 25 to February 21.

World Champion Lion and Dance Performance 

Prior to that, the West Lobby at TPC Kuala Lumpur will be the scene for a spectacular performance from the world champion Kung Seng Keng Lion and Dragon Dance Association.

To be staged at 11 am on Saturday, January 18, a series of fun activities have been arranged, including a colouring contest for kids and mystery Ang Pow giveaways.
